UNIVERSAL LIBRARY

As a member of Quiz Infinity, users have access to a Universal Library where they can view or take quizzes created by other teachers or tutors, or copy those quizzes to their personal Quiz Library.  The edit function allows for these quizzes to be used “as is” or changed to the user’s liking.  In addition, members can also contribute to the library, sharing quizzes they have personally crafted.

SHARING WITH THE HIGH SCHOOL/COLLEGE “COMMUNITY LIBRARY”

Any quiz in your Quiz Library can easily be sent to the Community Library which is available to High School and College Students in CramStoppers.com.  Simply share a quiz to their Community Library, then direct them to Cram Stoppers where they can take it, view it, or copy it to their personal Quiz Library. 

BUDDYSHARING

This feature allows you to selectively share your created quizzes with other MEMBERS of Quiz Infinity, Qwizzy’s World, or Cram Stoppers.  Whether it’s with students, colleagues, tutors, or homeschool communities, it is a simple way to work together for supplemental studying.

The Buddyshare feature is located inside Quiz Infinity on the Home Page. After reading the RULES (very important) and instructions, SELECT the RECIPIENT by typing in their Username or use the short-cut feature by making a MASTER list of BUDDIES! After choosing the quizzes you wish to share, simply hit "Send Now" - it's a cinch!

QUIZ RESULTS

The Quiz Results Chart is a great feature that allows students, parents, tutors, or teachers a quick overview of taken quizzes.  It shows the most recent quiz taken at the top, the name of the quiz, subject, grade, date taken, # times attempted, # correct, and % correct.  Scored quizzes can also be reviewed and results sent to other Qwizzy’s World, Cram Stoppers, or Quiz Infinity member accounts.

ULTIMATE QUIZ

Creating an Ultimate Quiz is a cinch for creating any type of cumulative test – great for semester, mid-terms, and final exams!  This easy to use feature allows for the quick combining of past quizzes.  Once created, if modifying is needed, quiz questions can be edited, deleted, or added.  The Ultimate Quiz feature is located inside of Quiz Infinity on the Home Page.

FLASH CARDS

One of the great features on Cram Stoppers is the automatic creation of Flash Cards from a previously made quiz.  Once quizzes are created, users can simply click on the card icon on the All My Quizzes chart and study in the flash card format.  (Reading Comprehension and Just Logical quizzes are not readable in this format.)  Flash cards randomize as well and can be printed to use in hand.

SHARING SCORED QUIZZES

Scored Quizzes can be selectively shared with others – a great feature to have your students use for easy test result tracking.  It’s as easy as them highlighting the button next to the Scored Quiz they wish to share, entering the Username of the receiver, and clicking on send.  The Scored Quiz (along with their Username) will appear in the receiver’s Shared Scored Quiz Chart located on the Home Page.  The recipient will also receive a pop-up message alerting them that it has been sent.

JUST KEEP WRITING

Quiz Infinity has a special feature called “Just Keep Writing,” which provides students a unique way to develop and polish writing skills – at their convenience and at their pace.  It was designed to demystify the writing process for students of all levels and writing abilities, and can help college students brush up on their writing skills.  Students can log on and learn, step-by-step, the mechanics of writing, in a non-threatening, friendly way.  .  It is a great supplemental tool for classroom teachers, as students find the cast of memorable characters to be great guides.  Topic Tomas, Vivid Verbs Vivian, Transition Tony, and others offer terrific tips as students craft their papers during assignments or testing - an angel on their shoulder per se!

After students read and work within Just Keep Writing, they will be able to craft their own work within the site.  A “Write My Own” section will be available in the Fall of 2010.  Students will be able to select a graphic organizer, fill it in, write their paragraph(s), edit their work, and create a clean final copy to turn in at school.  A library will also be available where they can store their work.

JUST LOGICAL

Just Logical is a unique multiple choice only quizzing system that supplies the learner with instant feedback.  It is designed to have students study specific skill areas – everything from adverbs and prepositional phrases to multiplication or map skills, supplying positive, immediate reinforcement. 

When taking JL quizzes, the user continues to select responses to each question until they get the correct answer.  In doing so, they are able to apply the same logic on the next question, reinforcing the same skill.  Each Just Logical quiz can measure up to three skill sets at a time, determined by the person creating the quiz.

TEXT EDITOR

The text edit feature supports studying all foreign languages, plus being able to create quizzes using features like bold, italics, underline, and various font sizes and types.  Inserting pictures from the special QI library or internet is also available.

JENNABUG

Designed for a younger audience, this feature has pre-made quizzes for Kindergarten through 2nd graders. By using JennaBug in Qwizzy’s World, younger students can play with several age appropriate, fun, safe quizzes and parents can get ideas on how the site can benefit even the youngest child!  Whether you are having your elementary students take the quizzes or you’re just looking at them for ideas on how to craft your own for them, JennaBug is a great place to visit!
